His expertise spans various curricula, including International Baccalaureate (IB), American, British, and Canadian systems.
In 2022-2023, as the School Director at Rowad Alkhaleej International School in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Dr. Sawyer implemented a new curriculum and assessment design system that aligned with national and international standards. His philosophy of developing a ‘Happy Brain’ led to an increase in student enrollment, thanks to his innovative marketing and community engagement strategies. Events like “Coffee with the Director,” STEAM Fairs, and Academic Competitions not only boosted enrollment but also strengthened parent engagement and created a vibrant school community.
Before his time in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Sawyer was the Academic Director at an academy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
