At Sawyer Scholastics, we have a top-notch team of teachers and administrators who work within the Sawyer Scholastics School System for the advancement and betterment of all children. The academy is a private online K–12 school, registered in the State of Florida. While we are in the process of building our own curriculum, we are using a combination of the best available paid and free curricula and tailoring them to YOUR needs. While most homeschooling sites are only curriculum sites and cannot register your children as students, Sawyer Academy is an online private school, registered with the Florida Department of Education. In other words, you no longer need to worry about registering your children with a local school that interferes in your children’s education or tries to tell you what you have to study. At Sawyer Scholastics and Academy, we tailor your child’s education to suit your needs and specific family values. Yes, there are a lot of things that children need to learn, but let’s face it, there are also a lot of things that are taught in public schools (and other schools) that children do NOT need to learn at school. Those subjects are a parent’s responsibility and RIGHT.

Homeschooling can be lonely. At Sawyer Scholastics, we arrange for our students to get together for competitions against other schools and homeschooled students—online and in person! Competitions include sporting events, academic challenges, robotics and programming events, and others. Homeschooling and online education have never been so interactive and FUN! Remember that we adhere to the philosophical view that a Happy Brain learns better!
As a registered private school in Florida, Sawyer Scholastics, LLC has the ability to help homeschooling parents and homeschooled children receive the same benefits as children registered in ‘traditional’ schools. As a part of our services, we provide assistance with tailoring curriculum to meet individual needs, conduct state-required exams, review and certify report cards and transcripts and issue internationally recognized diplomas.
